O my dear,
I have kept my garland decorated
to express my love to You.

I may be momentary,
but my love represents the essence of essences
and it is eternal.

All the tunes,
all that has been rehearsed,
all the ideations and languages that have existed,
the essence of it all,
I included in my garland,
to Your resonating tinkling.

I am but a mere particle of Your mercy,
passing through the golden fountain.

O Lord beyond colours,
by the shower of Your grace,
I have become purified.
Now, please uplift me.

--------------------------------

I have kept my garland arranged,
O Lord, awaiting You.
Our tryst may be only for a moment,
but remember
my nectar-love is eternal.

Of my melodies, of my yearnings,
I have chosen the sweetest.
Of my thoughts, of my words,
I have taken the tender-most.

I collected all these essences
inspired by Your rhythmic resonance
and wove them lovingly into a necklace.

I am just a tiny mote of Your infinite compassion
O colourless one, I am purified,
bathed in the fountain of golden elixir.
Now, by Your grace, lift me up to You.

note: the fountain of golden elixir is an allegory for
the Hiranmaya kosa, the subtlest layer of mind,

and the singer is asking to be raised beyond that,
into Satyaloka, the sphere beyond existence.
